Not Cincy... no way. Nothing to do, no place to go(except the levee in Ky.)... and no, skyline chili is not reason enough to come to Cincinnati. The Banks are a decade of ball dropping, and still literally nothing to show for it. UH... mass transit... or lack there of. Can't host the world and expect metro buses to carry the load. The city planning has driven people out of Hamilton county and into Butler, and Clermont. Fact: Cincinnati is one of the biggest cities in the world without a single mile of commuter rail. Cincinnati would never be considered as a legitimate Olympic site...and 2012 was not even close to happening...look, we won't even get an MLB all-star game, due to lack of commitment in this city. Ten years of a giant hole in a major city, are you kidding me?! How long would it take us to build world-class Olympic facilities if we cant even put up a few office/business/apt./whatever buildings. Beijing spent over $50 billion on hosting the Olympics. Cincinnati makes me mad, I want so bad to be proud of this city, but the higher ups continue to disappoint.

Columbus because of the central location (access to Clevo AND Porktown) and massive facilities at OSU.
If it was in Cincinnati - half of it would wind up in KY.

This is a great idea. The City is again making smart choices for the future of our downtown. They recently installed bike racks at Findlay Market too!
I wonder how those will work though? How much does it cost or do you just bring your own lock and hope to find one that is available?

May not be ideal, but an ESPNzone will bring people and their dollars to downtown. More importantly, it is likely money that would not have otherwise been spent down there, not just people who already would be there taking their dollars from another establishment. Places like that are money magnets. Now, it must be more than that with a local flavor, but those kind of anchors get folks in the door.

I'll agree with the above. We need something that is unique to Cincinnati otherwise the Banks will be on the decline in 5 to 10 years after completion when the novelty wears off.

Honestly, this kind of bothers me. Everyone talks about how great it will be once there is an ESPNZone there, but seriously, ESPNZone? That's the best thing we can come up with?

I'd rather see a bunch of small locally owned places, and if there has to be a big anchor restaurant, why can't it be a locally owned one?

If the Banks turns into this kind of bland placeless clone I'll be pretty disappointed.

Me too, I'm on board with this one. GABP will immediately become a much better ballpark with a developed Banks project next to it.
