About
The Banks Blog is an ongoing record of the progress of Cincinnati, Ohio’s riverfront, including The Banks Project and the new riverfront park. Each week we’ll post pictures of The Banks and the riverfront to show a visual record of construction.
As downtown residents, we look forward to the addition of a revitalized river front in the city.
Enjoy!
Who We Are
The Banks Blog is part of the family of sites from Live Green Cincinnati LLC.
We hope to encourage others to see the benefits of revitalizing the urban core of Cincinnati. A walkable city with mixed-use development along the river front will take our region into the mid-21st century ready to tackle the new economic realities facing our country.
Cincinnati was once the largest city in the West because of our location on the Ohio river. Cincinnati is still a hub for freight train traffic with rail lines leaving the city in all directions. The city is poised to once again be a thriving core of high-speed rail travel and a strong port city in a future where a growing use of alternative energy will become more important.
