Cincinnati is making real strides toward meeting the needs of alternative commuters with the recent announcment by Parks Director Willie Cardon that the new Riverfront park will have a 4,500 sq ft biking facility.

The report comes from the Cincinnati Business Courier on Friday July 25. Apparently the facility will include bike rentals, lockers and showers.

Below is a photo of a bike locker in California that was in the commuter train station near San Diego. They are a great idea as you don’t have to worry about your tires or accessories being stolen from your bike as you do when you lock it to a post or rail.
