My favorite: filling in surveys!

What better way is there for you to give your opinion? Write it down!
David Pepper put together a survey to gather feedback on The Banks. Fill it out!!
Thanks to The ‘Nati Life for the head’s up on this one.

What the heck is it? You tell us …

We’re starting a new post series called “what the heck is it?,” where we’d like you to tell us what we’re looking at. For the inaugural question, the photo below looks to be some kind of drainage protection. If you know what the heck it is and what its purpose is, go ahead and comment. [...]

Week 5

Well, it’s a bit like watching paint dry, but here are a few new photos. Obviously, this machine is taking the concrete and crushing it for re-use.

Stacks of rusted grates are piled to one side. Again, it appears they are headed for recycling. Both the reuse and recycling of materials on site are part of [...]

The tipsy toilet

It was windy today. How windy you ask?
Windy enough to knock a pre-marathon portapotty near The Banks right off it’s base.

Talk about an unlucky start.

Pig debris litters The Banks

On a stroll along the magical construction barrier today, two things were clear.

Marathoners drink a lot of bottled water.
There aren’t enough recycling bins and trash cans along the route.

If there was any doubt about who left all these bottles, this bit of fruity evidence ought to be proof enough.

The Banks week 3 haiku

Vast dirt covered lot
crawling with machines and men
we anticipate.
